We are a church that believes that our life of faith is rooted in love and intentionality. Because of this, we offer many opportunities for you and your family to become engaged and grow at your own pace. We are a group of people who are dedicated to helping you identify and take your next step in the safety and freedom of community! Through X-Groups (small groups), Focus Student Ministry and other ministry opportunities you can connect with others as you grow in your relationship with Christ.
X-Groups (Small groups)
We know it's important to be connected. We also know it's hard sometimes to to connect with others and build lasting friendships. We know that even defining community is tough because being in community is more than showing up for Bible study. It’s also sharing food, laughing till it hurts, and doing what you love to do with a core group of people exploring faith together in a safe space. We believe that X-Groups can help you find a connection and enjoy that kind of laughing, caring, and growing community. BE CHURCH Volunteer Groups
BE CHURCH events are the way we go beyond the walls of the church to engage the community through service, listening, and building relationships. When we put our faith in action, we are the hands and feet of Christ and we BE the CHURCH in the community.
Some of the ways we BE the CHURCH include: seeing face of Christ in our neighbors, feeding people who are hungry, celebrating with the LGBTQ+ neighbors at PRIDE, equipping the students at the local schools with supplies and haircuts, partnering with Allied Churches of Alamance County to provide food and Christmas celebrations for their residents, serving with Meals on Wheels and Out of the Garden project, stocking food pantries, sending supplies to victims of natural disasters, playing bingo and being present with people in retirement communities, and much more! We will post our next BE CHURCH events soon!
Our hope is to find creative ways to reach and teach kids about Jesus on their own level in a safe and fun environment. Since we don't have a regular physical building, we'll be taking this ministry to communities as drop in VBS, craft fairs, etc. If you have a passion for children's ministry, we can use you and your unique abilities to help us pray, dream and shape what this can look like in our BE CHURCH model. Then we'll need talented hands to go and do it!
